SHEA Spring is back with a new theme: “The Future is Now: Implementing Change through People, Policy and Technology.”
The conference, which is run by the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), is being held at the Westin Galleria Houston from April 16 to 19.
SHEA Spring will take place in Houston from April 16 to 19.
SHEA Spring typically focuses heavily on emerging issues in health care epidemiology and antibiotic stewardship. This year’s meeting will also include new research and discussions on long-term care, research methods, clinical microbiology, patient safety and quality, implementation science and COVID-19, according to SHEA.
Additionally, organizers have planned numerous networking and special events that will take place during the conference, including SHEA’s first ever service project, in which attendees will have the opportunity to assemble “superhero kits” for children with chronic illnesses and their families.
