NEW YORK — In this video from the Infectious Diseases in Children Symposium, Ashley N. Gyura, DNP, CPNP-PC, APRN, discusses the important role pediatricians and nurses play in answering families’ questions about travel medicine.
“Travel outbound from the United States really took a dive during COVID but we’re getting back up there,” said Gyura, a pediatric nurse practitioner in the infectious disease department at Children’s Minnesota
“We have a lot of patients and families that are coming to us for advice and help on what to do to keep their family safe when they travel,” Gyura said.
