Here’s a look at which Berkshire County’s restaurants and shops are closed this year:
HiLo, a live music and comedy venue that opened two years ago, is closing its doors and its future is unclear. The Parlor Cafe, which operates in the same room, will move to the city center.
Hi: The live music and comedy venue HiLo on Union Street in North Adams first opened in the summer of 2019. The venue is currently on hiatus, although the future of the business is unclear.
Owned for nearly 40 years, Cafe Lucia shut down as a downtown high-end restaurant and celebrity “supper club” this month, four months after its founder and co-owner passed away.
Café Lucia: In October, a notice was posted at the main entrance of Café Lucia in Lenox announcing that the restaurant would be closed.
“We had a great run, almost 39 years. … I am so very grateful for all the love and support that I received in this most difficult but successful season after I lost my husband, partner and founder on June 13th, 2021, “the note says.
