The Yoga Space Warrington is closing on February 12

A POPULAR yoga business in the heart of the town center is closing its doors next month due to financial struggles.

The Yoga Space Warrington, which was launched on Barbauld Street by Jennifer Kerrisk in 2020, announced the sad news in an Instagram post.

The mum and business owner described the decision as ‘extremely difficult’, revealing it has been a ‘struggle’ to keep the studio open for so long.

The post reads: “It has been a great struggle to keep the doors open this long and financially it is unrealistic to keep the studio open any longer.

“With my expanding family, it is not feasible for me to subsidize the studio any longer in order to continue to run the space.”

The business owner has thanked everyone who offered support to the studio which ‘meant the world’.

The studio will be closed on February 12.

Jennifer will also be keeping yoga lovers updated about when and where she’ll be teaching again later in the year in her newsletter.

Many ‘gutted’ customers responded to the Instagram post to thank the yoga instructor and to share their sadness.

One person said: “Where would I be without the YS? After injury after injury (non-yoga related) my body was a mess. Unable to return to the fast pace strong yoga I was used to, the YS helped me build back strength in my mind and body with gentle restorative to slow flows, and now being able to enjoy a strong vinyasa again. Making many new friends along the way.”

Another said: “So gutted to hear this. I wish you all the luck in the future.”
