The beautiful woodland retreat in Somerset with a new pair of goats

A beautiful woodland retreat in Somerset has just announced the arrival of its latest guests – a pair of goats.

The new goats, recently named Heyhey and Vincent Van Goat, are settling in well at their new home on the beautiful slopes above Bath.

The new additions have been welcomed by the owners of Combe Grove on the southern slopes of Bath.

Not only do they look good, they have a job to do, keeping the weeds and brambles at bay on the stunning woodland estate.

Combe Grove has undergone many changes in recent months under its current ownership.

There are noticeable improvements to the grounds at the former country estate which is now a woodland retreat offering wellness and health packages to both members and visitors.

The stunning grounds have been transformed, there are willow fences and gorgeous wooden huts around the gardens.

Crucially Combe Grove is no longer a hotel, it is now a place where people can come from all over and benefit from its health and dietary advice.

One of their latest initiatives is a package for people at risk of developing diabetes.

The Combe Grove Metabolic Reset Program is a one year plan structured around a one week stay on the Combe Grove estate, designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and support to empower prediabetic clients to make sustainable lifestyle choices to prevent the onset of diabetes.

This will allow clients to retreat from everyday life and to focus on developing an understanding of the five roots of metabolic health whilst enjoying activities that promote health and wellbeing.

It is all health and wellbeing at Combe Grove now, no alcohol, no unhealthy food while the the goats Heyhey and Vincent van Goat look on if firm approval as they eat away at the healthy brambles and weeds and admired by everyone at the estate.
