In its first year, the Healio Honors peer-to-peer recognition program celebrated 65 health care professionals for their exemplary work in patient care, research, advocacy and mentorship. Year two of the program is now underground.

Healio is accepting submissions through June 30 for the second annual Healio Honors program.

“Through practice, research, and the patient experience, health care professionals are creating a world where people trust them with their lives. That is powerful,” Healio Chief Content Officer Joan Marie Stiglich, ELS, said in a press release.

In keeping with the theme “powerful people create powerful outcomes,” Healio encourages peer-to-peer nomination of colleagues who embody that power.

“With Healio Honors, we look forward to showcasing the stories of those who are inspiring the health care community daily,” Stiglich said.

All US health care professionals are eligible to be honorees, according to the release. More information is available at HealioHonors.com.
