Strictly Pro Dianne Buswell on Having Children, Mega Fans & More

It’s New Women’s Health Day! And this month, Dianne Buswell, the strict pro and owner of the show’s most iconic hair, is on the front page.

In the magazine interview – available on Tuesday, November 23rd – Dianne speaks openly about career struggles and big goals in life – both professionally (see: her own yoga business) and personally.

That’s right – if you’ve been wondering what’s the latest from Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell, stay tuned. She also reveals how she really feels about to leave this Strictly streak in early October.

ICYMI, that was because 2021 celebrity partner comedian and writer Robert Webb had to quit due to a long-term heart condition.

During a break from the Technicolor shoot – where Dianne Buswell moved effortlessly and our photographer took some really happy and energetic shots – we grabbed her to play a game of Fill in The Blanks.

She answers 12 questions in the video – including revealing her (seriously relatable) worst habit and biggest downside to fame. You can check out Women’s Health’s YouTube channel (and if you don’t already have a subscription, why?).

Dianne Buswell on food and fitness must-haves

But first … fitness. ‘My favorite way[s] work out [are] Dance and yoga, ”she reveals. No prizes for guessing the first.

“Dancing has been my life since I was four years old and discovered yoga in my late twenties and I just love it,” she reveals. “I feel like when I’m not dancing, I just enjoy doing yoga.”

How does she fuel her fitness and busy life? Dianne shares how she prefers a plant-based diet – plus the one food she could happily eat indefinitely.

“If I could eat one meal forever, it would be rice paper rolls” [AKA Vietnamese summer rolls]. Somewhat arbitrary: You have rice paper, you put what you want in it, ”she enthuses.

“I like to put tofu and salad and rice noodles in there – and it’s all about the dipping sauce,” she says. “It’s a nice peanut dip sauce that goes very well with a Vietnamese bun. It’s one of my favorite dishes. ‘

Nothing is taboo in Dianne’s diet. Home-baked cake (with a cup of coffee straight out of the oven if you ask) and popcorn (with a Disney movie) are two of her favorite goodies.

In fact, Dianne is so into healthy eating that she believes she could have worked in this field – if she hadn’t realized her dream of becoming a professional top dancer, that is.

“Diet is something I fell in love with recently,” Dianne Buswell told WH. “I’m doing a nutrition class right now, so I’m making this dream a little more fulfilling.”

Truly a woman of many talents (it turns out she is also a trained hairdresser).

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell: where their relationship is now

Dianne’s personal life is something her hordes of enthusiastic fans are drawn into through the YouTube channels by her and her partner Joe. And Dianne counts her boyfriend as one of her most passionate champions.

“My biggest fan is Joe … because he loves me, so he’s a big fan! I’m a big fan of his too, ”she laughs.

The two bought their first house together in February. And as further evidence that Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell’s bond is growing stronger, Dianne told WH that she would love to have children with him in the future.

“Joe is the person who supports me the most… I would love to have a family one day, and I know Joe would love a family too. That would be our dream one day. ‘

The other important man in her life – and the other # 1 member of the Dianne Buswell fan club – is her father.

“He loves everything I do, and I still think I’m my dad’s little girl,” she smiles. “I swear he still thinks I’m five which is very good for me!”

“We have a very loving relationship, me and my father; he’s super proud of me. ‘ Cute!

What Dianne Buswell would tell her younger self

During our day of shooting, the popular YouTube star lived up to her reputation as a role model – with sound, encouraging advice.

“The only thing I would say to my 18-year-old self would be: don’t be afraid to ask questions,” she reveals.

“I’ve thought so many times that a question is too silly to ask … but no question is stupid; If you want to ask a question, raise your hand, ask the question and people will give you an answer. ‘

Wise words to remember from our friendly (and tough) cover star.
