Longtime Oswego candy shop moves; Yoga business opens (Store Front Roundup)

Oswego, NY – A long-standing candy store in Oswego has a new home.

Stone’s homemade candy and ice cream reopened in its new location at 23 W. Seneca St. in early September. The company was previously located at 145 W. Bridge St.

The business also has a new group of owners that includes Jeff McCrobie, Bill Galloway, Diego Lebaudy and Don Regan who have been running and running Stones with his family since 1973.

The new location has an air-conditioned candy factory at the back that allows Stone’s to make its signature product, biscuits, eight to nine months a year, McCrobie said. The production of biscuit sweets is very sensitive to moisture.

Stone’s will also be adding outdoor patio seating for its ice cream customers this spring. There wasn’t room for it in the old store, said McCrobie.

Stone’s has six employees.

The yoga and mental health business opens
